ALEX (Advanced Learning Exchange) is a Learning Management System that serves as a central resource for online medical education content and computer-based learning activities. Every course, clerkship, and elective has an ALEX site that supports teaching, learning and collaboration through a series of integrated web-based tools. ALEX empowers faculty and students to have greater control of their course content and gives them new tools to extend teaching and learning beyond the borders of the traditional classroom. The open-source system upon which ALEX is based was developed by a consortium of Universities and is specifically designed to support the needs of higher education.

Accessing the Wireless Network at NYULMC
Additional guides and resources are available by clicking the links to the left.

Medical students and House Staff can also access the content of all Medical School courses and clerkships at anytime, even those in which they are not currently enrolled. Click on the 'Medical School Curriculum' link on the left side of your 'My Workspace' site.
